About This Site
Well I finally put an email link up, so in case you've been dying to email me now you can. I also put "about this site" up there, but I need help with that part. People who stumble across A Cry for Help might be curious as to what they're getting in to, so I'll put up an info page to oblige them. Here's what I got so far:
A Cry for Help…
…is written mostly by Bil Herron, with some help from his friends.
…is anchored to the real world roughly in the middle of Rhode Island, the smallest and bestest state in the USA.
…is politically progressive (in a pragmatic idealist sort of way).
…is a tongue-in-cheek title. Our self-esteem is fine.
What else needs to go on the list? Leave a comment, OR(!) use the contact Bil link to email me!
Also, I'm soliciting testimonials from regulars as to why they love (or love to hate) A Cry for Help. Expressing your feelings about me is fine, too. Here's one from a very attractive man:
"Probably the single most important website for bipeds" -Bil
Can you do better?

I visit “A Cry For Help” every day because I like Rhode Island and up until recently I thought that it was the only website in Rhode Island. It turns out that Rhode Island actually has more than 5 websites. So I was wrong about that one.
Nevertheless, I still habitually visit BilHerron.com. As far as habits go, it’s better than a crack habit. Therefore, one can conclude that “A Cry For Help” is better than crack.
That, and Bil is a good sport when I kid.

sample reply:
“Rhode Island is a state? I thought it was just part of New York.”
I’ll attribute this to anyone who came to URI to visit a high school friend. Whenever I get on a plane, I’m usually pretty sure I know what state it’s landing in.

Damn, the low self-esteem was why I was here, and now I find out it’s not true.

This site was the first to come up when I was searching on Google to try to find out what Lloyd Morse has to offer Cranston as mayor besides large inflatables and bucking the uptight current mayor. I like your site, enjoy your thoughts, but any advise about where to find out more about Cranstons’ mayorial candidates? Thanks.
