When Em and I went to the Sox game last month, I mentioned how lucky we were to have bought tickets for a game in the middle of the hottest of win streaks. Well, you win some and you lose some when you are buying tickets in February. We caught last night's (9/15) marathon at Fenway Park, which, despite the Sox coming out on top, seemed like a loss. I wanted to throw something when Curt Schilling opened up tonight's game with three outs on five pitches! In our game we saw, I think, 87 pitching changes and 45 pinch runners/hitters. My goodness, it went on and on. And on.
Also, where have the cool dogs gone?! I loved those things, but they no longer sell them at Fenway, I guess.
Now the boys are off to New York. Oh, I do love this time of year…
