Where has Bil been lately, you ask? Over the past few days, many, including myself have made the journey down to the hot & humid city of New Orleans for his long-awaited and glorious Tulane graduation ceremony! Since Bil is definitely leaving New Orleans this time, his family decided to come down one last time and take advantage. So everyone congratulate Bil, as he will officially be a college grad tomorrow!
Even when all of this is over and the family is gone, Bil.com may see yet another drout. Over the next week, we will be re-enacting Louis & Clark's famous journey up the Mississippi towards Rhode Island*. Actually, we are driving home from New Orleans via Memphis, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Detroit and Cleveland, catching MLB baseball games in 4 out of those 5 cities. If the hotels out there have internet, we'll post pictures as we go.
Until then, its hot here.
*I am not funny.
Congratulations, Bil! Be careful of St Louis, it’s a scary place…
Congrats! What was your major?
Garris
PS: Wonderful idea to catch MLB games in those cities, especially since their stadiums are highlights of their urban areas in some of those places!
Congrats!
Welcome to the screwed up non-Academic world.
we knew you could do it, bil! hooray!!!
Congrats Billy. See I told you, you’d get through it this semester…now you can go back to being lazy…
So Lewis and Clark weren’t trying to find Rhode Island??? I knew I shoulda gone to collije.
Congrats Bil! Remember there is always grad school waiting for your glorious return to academia. Until then, enjoy your trip. If you get a chance, go to Graceland in Memphis. It’s a fascinating place – what happens when a simple country boy gets more money than he knows what to do with. Also get some bbq – best I ever had.
Maybe when you are back in RI we can get together and celebrate all the graduations over some beers!
Congratulations, Bil. I graduated from college 22 years ago yesterday, probably just around the time you were born. Yikes.
