Hi!

Bloglines update: 364 Unread Items. I did knock off a few sites tonight, but damn, the internets got a lot of stuff added every day. And my brain tends to explode when I sit in Barnes and Noble for longer than an hour or two. Also, I almost drove my car off the road today when I realized that every piece of information at my local library would probably fit on a 2006 iPod.

I love technology. Seriously. Especially stuff like this. I just spent the last week learning a new programming language and some web database stuff, and my head is swimming with possibilities. I swear, I had a dream about SQL strings the other night. Sad.

I am so glad that Viagra "Wild Thing" commercial got pulled. Levitra, you're next. And watch out Cialis. Then, if I have my way, every commercial that has a disclaimer about four hour erections will be relics of a past TV age. Where are those moral red staters when I need them? And that MNF/Desperate Housewives thing?! Argggggghhh!!

Oh, anyone seen either the Incredibles or I Heart Huckabees? Em and I seem to have run out of movie passes, so we're behind on the movie thing.

Man, it's past my bedtime. I had to get this in before tomorrow morning, though, as I did promise a Sunday post. I'm glad Nightwing got an entry in while I was decompressing. I've decided to do a little time management and aC4H is going to get some love. Provided anyone's still here. Anyone? *crickets*

  2. Michael Says:

Hey, you know I’m a regular reader. I heart Bloglines and syndication.

  4. R.K. Bentley Says:

Incredibles ROCKED! Go see it on the big screen!

  5. Grace Says:

I Heart Huckabees was entertaining but freakish, and seemed to be simultaneously affirming and sending up everything I believe in. And the scene with the suburban family was just a little too close to reality for comfort.

“We’re not IN infinity. We’re in the suburbs.”

Wow, I should step out more often, this post got more comments than the 8 of last 10 posts…

NW, you got your first trackback today! Yay!! I’m boning up on PHP, although today I spent five hours trying to dynamically generate javascript from PHP based on a three table MySQL query. All for a fricken combo box!

Grace, if it’s freakish, I bet I’ll love it. Plus I have a bit of unhealthy interest in that particular pathology we call suburban life.

There should be an erectile dysfunction, bladder dysfunction, menstration, hemorrhoid, irritable bowel, acid refulx… 24-hour infomercial network. Anyone who needs any guidance on any of those issues can flip over to there, and those of us that don’t can watch television in peace. Really, how many women make their feminine hygene decisions during Survivor? How many men are watching The Simpsons and thinking, I really wish there was something I could do about my ED?

  8. Margaret Says:

I Heart Huckabees was a wonderful, bizarre flick which requires you to allow yourself to get into a vaguely sado-masochistic relationship with the writers, but it all ends up okay.

And I agree with what Grace said.

“Jesus is never mad at us if we live with him in our hearts!”
“Oh, I hate to break it to you, sweetheart, but he is - he most definitely is.”

Ack! My sister’s followed me here!

Oh right … I posted the link on my blog.

Catherine will be disappointed that there’s a Mrs. Ultra Laser. She was very excited about the guerrilla drones.

How wonderful it is! Today, I had seen the film - “The Incredibles” this afternoon, My father also had seen this film in this evening. This cartoon movie is powered by Disney-Pixar.
In this film, I love the people’s sensation, scene, bugbears. The scene is so sublime.
    With the great imagination.

I like to think of myself as a smart girl, but there are a ton who are smarter than me. At least I’m not like Dubbya who has called himself “the Decider”. HAHA - That’s so funny!
