People of Pawtucket!
Do not elect this man!

After presiding over an ethical cesspool in the RI legislature, then mucking through a sex scandal which forced him to step down as speaker of the house (which could have been a moot point had some electoral "inconsistancies" not allowed him to eke out a win over A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE last election), Rep. John Harwood wants to be leader of the House once more.
If you live in Pawtucket's 59th House district, vote early, vote often, vote against this sleazy pol (you've even got two chances, in the Dem primary then again in November!)

Vote often?

Does he have a challenger for the primary yet? I’m in his district, and suspect that anybody short of rick santorum with a clean slate and a little organization could knock him off. He came close to losing last time by a last-minute write in opponent…

from the ProJo:
“He will have an opponent in the September primary, and the winner of that race will have an opponent on Nov. 2. J. Patrick O’Neill, a lawyer, is running as a Democrat. Jean Philippe-Barros is running as an independent.”
And hooray for a new face around here!
Also, Messrs. O’Neill and Phillipe-Barros, should you happen to google your names and end up here, I’d be happy to volunteer my services.

Please, please give me some data on Harwood’s opposition. Where do they stand on issues.I can’t find out anything about them.
Thank you

Unfortunately, Sandra, I don’t know much about them. Click the link below for an article on O’Neill, and keep your eyes peeled.

Someone pointed me to this website, and I am glad that they did.
I am the candidate running against John Harwood in the primary election in one week (9/14).
Please email me with any questions that you have about my candidacy or what I hope to do for Pawtucket…but the simple platform is to start over! We need a fresh face up there and I would like to get back to what the job of a representative should be….to represent.
I want to be an integral part in the revitalization of Pawtucket and I want to be the person everyone, not just cronies and donators, can count on.
I am glad I was pointed to this website and please feel free to email me or call me at 401-475-0265.
I am still looking for help on election day too!!!

Get rid of Harwood! He’s nothing but a corrupt typical RI dirty politician crony. He needs to go. It’s people like him in our gov’t that makes RI such a laughing stock.
