Pitchah’s and Catchah’s
It's here!!! Spring Training is upon us now that the 2004 Boston Red Sox pitchers and catchers are in Florida, getting ready for another headlong run at 86 years of history. Curt Schilling is, by all accounts, in amazing shape and rearing to go. Pedro Martinez is, of course, not quite there yet (he's been late to 6 out of the last 7 spring training camps). Oh man, this is great!
I know you guys up in New England are not feeling springy just yet, but it's in the 70s here in New Orleans, so I'm in a baseball mood…
Anyway, I've got some good early reading to get your Sox Excitement Barometer up:
- Sports Guy has reasons to be optimistic (many of which are the lack of Grady Little)
- ProJo's Jack Perry has a hilarious prognostication sure to please all Sox fans
- Sports Illustrated has their look at the matchup (via JimSpot)
Let that keep you busy, I'm off to a Mardi Gras parade!
