Rhode Island Guardsman Killed in Iraq
Sgt. Christopher S. Potts, 38, a father of two from Tiverton, RI, was killed during an attack by insurgents in Taji, Iraq this week.
I don't know the Potts, but my heart aches for them. I feel like all Rhode Islanders are extended family, and one more part of that family just got the worst news they could get. Sgt. Potts's youngest son will never know his father except in pictures and memories of a man who gave his life for his country. My deepest condolences go out to his wife, his sons and all who knew him.

A 20 year old from my hometown was killed last Novemember. The helicopter ferrying him to Baghdad to fly home for a 2 week leave was shot down.
If you run a stop sign you get ticketed and fined. George Bush will likely be given another 4 years in the Oval Office.
Just doesn’t make sense…

Pottsy,
I am really going to miss you man… I can’t help myself to think that everytime I walk through “your” building that you won’t be standing there waiting to start a conversation or hear a story from the pervious school day. I am thankful for what you did for this country and you are forever a HERO bro. I will always love and miss you!
