Warwick police are notorious for having a 3+ cop party at whatever routine stop they can find. I've often wondered, if I ever got into an accident in Warwick, how would I politely request that only one officer show up, because honestly, is it really necessary to block up the already-trafficky street?

I don't know about RI, but I think if you go to college in New Orleans Drunk Driving 101 is a required course, since the streets are tight and there's a bar on every corner.

Em: don't worry, if you get in an accident in Warwick, no cops show up. They're all too busy pulling over 18 year old coeds.

No guys, it's not just Warwick all cops suck! I used to live in No. Attleboro where they are nortoriously facist! I once had a cop follow me over one mile, from the time i got off the highway and all through the twisty, narrow streets of my neighborhood. I used to live in a house on corner so, I made the right turn, around the corner and stopped in front of my house - no off street parking at the time. I was getting out of my car to go inside, after a long day at work, and the cop pulls up behind me, turns on his lights and orders me (over his loud-speaker) to get back in my car! Before doing so, i yelled back "But, i live here!" (geturing to the big house i was already half-way to). He didnt care, he said again for me to get back in my car! He then, after a minute or so of adjusting his hat and wiping the confectioner's sugar from his lapels, got out and took his sweet-ass time coming up to my car. I asked him why he was "pulling me over" (after i was already stopped andd out of my car, no less) and he told my registration sticker on my license had expired! He followed me over a mile, through traffic and through my neighborhood, to make me sit in front of my house and embarrass me like he did in front of all my neighbors...for THAT?!? It must have been a slow day at the local Dunkin Donuts or something because this ass-clown had nothing better than to harrass me over a lousy registration sticker!

If you have RI government plate #4 on your black Audi and park it downtown with an expired inspection sticker, you don't get a ticket.
