In one breath McCarver talks about going to a musical and in the next he verbally strokes Jetes under the pinstripes. You draw your own conclusions.

But Joe Buck was worse. MUCH MUCH worse. He called Jetes a gamer for breaking his face and still playing while Nomar "rested his achilles tendon on the bench"

No mention of playing a full season with a seriously injured wrist and WINNING A BATTING TITLE.

BTW, Joe, Jeter's BA is something like .270
