Not to mention waxing self-righteous about government boots on his face? As Adam Felber has pointed out, BLUE America pays the taxes, produces the entertainment, and gets blown up by terrorist attacks. RED America enjoys the federal highway subsidies, consumes (and complains about the moral degeneracy of, while continuing to consume) the entertainment, and is perfectly safe from terrorist attacks, because no terrorist is going to bother to blow up East Bumblefuck, Kansas. Who do you think is being oppressed here??!! That said, it's absolutely true we should have just let 'em secede in 1861.
