<description>Just curious, is there something Movable Type isn't doing for you? We've got version 3.2 due out in just a few days, and it's worlds better than 2.661: No spam at all, tons of new features for managing blogs, and a whole bunch of new plugins. Let me know if we can help you check it out.

(Plus, you won't have to change any of your styles or templates unless you want to.)</description>

<description>Wow, a VP at Six Apart checking in at such a small-time blog? That's a definite sign of a good company, and very impressive. Also, that must be an extremely good filter to catch the gist of this post.

To answer Anil (and anyone else who's interested), my main reasons for moving away from Movable Type are: 1) Multi-author blogs (like this one is supposed to be) are no longer free as of v3 and 2) I am much much much more proficient in PHP than in Perl.

The comment/tb spam I have figured out pretty well, I don't get any anymore anyway. And MT has been great, I have no complaints at all. But with the above points and the general desire to try something new, onward it is.
