Super!
All week I've been feeling like a bad fan. I just haven't felt the urgency and excitement that had pervaded my pre-Super Bowl weeks in 2002 and 2004. I guess that's natural when your team just goes out and wins as a matter of course (33 wins in their last 35 games!). But still, this is the Super Bowl. And as of last night, I'm officially pumped (and jacked).
One of the best observations I've read this week was from Jim Donaldson, saying that if Pats cornerback Rodney Harrison played for any other team, we'd hate him. That's absolutely right. As it is, though, he's ours, and I can't wait to see him absolutely lay waste to Freddie Mitchell and any other Eagle who dares carry the ball near him. Harrison's big hits have been one of the most fun things to watch this year.
Anyway, I don't have the time or wherewithal to go full coverage with links and stats and comments of my own, but I am (super-) excited, and I hope everyone enjoys the game!
