Tragedy at HQ

I am just sick about the horrible, pointless, random murder of Providence Detective James Allen. I can't even begin to imagine the hole left in his family, including the Providence Police force. My condolences to them all. I wish I had more to offer.

Em remarked that the murder of a public protector is among the worst of crimes against society, and that's about right.

Although the monster who comitted this vicious attack on a reputable and admired officer should receive life without parole, I can not condone any direct physical actions allegedly taken by other members of the police or the “he had it coming to him” mentality of some in the local media. Justice will be served and he will find no solice or places to hide when he gets to prison. Civilized society must adhere to basic human rights… even the rights of terrible examples of humanity.
